PERSONALITY: If there is one thing Max is above all else, it is protective of her Flock. Even at the young age of fourteen, she has taken up the motherly role amongst the Flock, especially towards the younger members despite not having had a mother figure when she herself was growing up. She often fusses over the younger ones, especially Angel who she has a very close relationship with and even describes as being like her own daughter despite being less than ten years older than the younger girl. When it comes to the Flock, she always makes sure that they’re taken care of and fed before herself. She is little concerned with her own appearance, which would be described as tomboyish most of the time and she tends to get annoyed at herself when she does begin to worry about how she looks, because she doesn’t see things like that as important in the long run when staying alive and the well-being of the Flock is what she deems as more important.
Max has only ever relied on one person aside from the Flock; Jeb Batchelder, who was a scientist at the school where Max and the Flock spent the majority of their lives before Jeb broke them out and spent the next two years raising and training them. After Jeb is believed to be dead, Max becomes more independent, only relying on the Flock from that point forward. Max uses sarcasm and wit to mask her own fear when the Flock finds themselves in a sticky situation, but she never backs down from a fight no matter the odds, determined to take out as many enemies as she can before they take her out. Despite acting tough and tomboyish, Max wants what anyone else does, which is to be loved even if she will deny it when it is brought up, because she doesn’t want to appear weak in the eyes of her Flock.
ABILITIES: Not only does Max have higher than average strength, but she also has wings, which allow her to fly and are between 13 and 15 feet long.
WEAKNESSES: She may be stronger than most girls her age, but she is still vulnerable to anything humans are.
